For sale is our 1990 Coachman VIP 460/2. The caravan was second hand to our family some 10 years go and has been all over the country and into France. It was replaced in March 2019 with a newer caravan and hasn’t travelled very far since. The last big run was to France in Aug 2018 and it did a splendid job of providing us with an enjoyable two weeks. Since then, it has ventured as far as mid-Wales and towed without issue. The caravan has the starting price it has due to its current state. Despite it still towing well, it has various flaws, as I will now outline, which leave the van needing some TLC. There is no fridge. The original fridge died not long before we replaced the caravan. We removed the old one with a view to replacing the fridge but we instead found a newer caravan at a decent price so replaced the caravan instead!There is no working hot water. There isn’t an AL-KO hitch, just a basic trailer coupling so would need a stabiliser or better hitch for long distance or motorway speed towing.A kitchen drawer has a panel missing as evidenced in the photos.The TV aerial needs attention. It hasn’t worked since 2017 but as we rarely used the TV in the caravan, we never got round to having it fixed.Last time we used the caravan; the hob, oven and grill worked without issue but they haven’t been used in over a year…
