The front
right window was damaged by a tree branch in Cornwall and let the rain water in. We did not take much notice and did not do
anything about it. Last October, when we
were trying to sell it, damp patch and water damaged area were noticed under
that window.
The window
has a small crack on the inner glass but the outer glass is intact. The water
ingress is from under the hinge of the same window. The dampness area is around that window and
below it. No sign of damp or damage
around other windows.
I have the
Insurance engineer’s report if interested to see. I was trying to get the insurers to repair it
but no joy as it is water damage and Ombudsman…
