Here we have a 1998 Bailey Pageant Champagne caravan which has been used as a spare bedroom for approx.1 year by my son and his partner to enable them to save for a property of their own. We have owned the van for approx.3 years but the van has never been towed apart from when it was brought home.The floor had gone spongy and we decided to repair it and use it for ourselves but due to a bereavement the project has come to a halt hence the sale as SPARES OR REPAIRS.As can be seen in the pictures much of the work has been completed, however there is still the back end to complete just outside the shower, still a little patch by the sink as the first fix was inserting some sort of filler into the floor which was not totally successful, so a better fix using plywood, battens and filler was used for the rest. On close inspection the area above the door is slightly spongy but no signs of damp.We have never tried the gas so never used the cooker which would definately need checking out.I will say that it was sold to us as everything in working order.That said the electrics work, there is a new battery, lights, heater, fridge and I believe the thetford toilet works although they never used it as the van…
