We have for sale an Avondale Sandmartin vintage caravan, believed to be built in 1960’s. In need of some work to get it up and running as a touring caravan, but would make a lovely project. Alternatively would be an ideal space for a site office or extra space at home. Its general condition is good, given its age; however the services (electrics, gas and water) will need checking over as it has not been used for at least 4 years. The chassis looks ok – more photos can be provided if required.The internal fit-out has some lovely vintage features such as a retro clock and cupboards with racks for wine glasses and bottles. At the front there are two sofas, which should convert to a large double bed; however the table, which provides the bed support is missing, so the space would currently work as two twin beds. There is a wardrobe and a multitude of storage cupboards and shelves. The fridge is multipowered, by either 240V, 12V or gas. There is an oven, grill and hob at the rear end of the caravan, and a sink and drainer, all with fold down counters to provide ample work surface. There is also a gas heater. The bathroom has a sink and hairwash shower unit that is relatively new, but does not have a toilet, although there is plenty of space to fit a cassette toilet. There is no key to the caravan and the lock is broken so needs replacing….
