Avondale Highlight 380LE Caravan ONGOING PROJECT up for auction, needs finishing, usable in present state but not finished NO RESERVE must go, due to loosing my storage place. Owned for about 4 yrs, used it as a normal 2 berth until end of last year when I started modifying it to make it more multi use (still a caravan but able to sleep more if needed plus an open plan area which can be a storage area/play area, etc). I removed most of the original fittings and all the services (pipes and wires) except the front bed/dining area and the high level cupboards (see photos) to create a more open plan floor layout. I started boarding the walls and fit a small cupboard (which can be removed) and a narrow shelf along back wall (needs finishing, but there to hold portable cooker etc). Its quite good for what is it was intended but does need finishing. Id say its 80-90% done on what I intended.
Its clean and dry, the fabric cushions/seats are good on top, a bit frayed underneath but still usable, curtains, meshes and black out blinds work, high level shelving good, carpeted and floor ok, roof vents ok, double glazed windows open and close, its very clean and tidy inside. It tows well, has good tyres including new spare and its lighter than before due to removal of most of the internal heavy items like cooker, heater, wardrobe etc. Outside there is no dents or bumps or scratches of note except a lens damaged on one indicator, taped up ok, it is and…
