This auction is for an avondale Mayfly caravan, unable to date but assume very early 1990s.It is in the most part an honest tidy van. This is a brutally honest description, this will not mislead anyone! We picked this up as a fixer-upper but really I have enough on my plate to deal with at the moment!Usual caravan accompaniments – Seating area with good upholsteryStandard of the era 3-way electrolux fridgeshower cubicle and chemical toilet with waste trolley and aquarollGas hob/grill/oven and sinkzig electrics, gas heater. Some of the cupboard doors have been taken off but are included (dont ask me why)Exterior generally decent, recent tyres, floor/chassis very solid indeed. No play in the wheel bearings, really smooth. Handbrake works well but is right at the end of the levers travel.Tows quite nicely! The bad bits:The damp bit in the front corner (see pictur e) this is largely behind the seats so I imagine could be repaired unobtrusively once the source of the leak is foundNo spare wheel (jack and wrench but no wheel!) these seem to be 4x100PCD so many vauxhall and volkswagen rims would fit to get you home if you got stuckSome damage to the door area – again pictured – (door functions fine but either the lock is broken or I have the wrong key for it, I cant lock it.) I have the keys for all the other locks on the van though. The blinds that were fitted around the seating area fell to pieces when touched…
