Avondale 6 berth family caravan for sale showing lots of signs of its 27 years! We’ve been using this van until this year and it’s been really comfortable and cosy. It is still towable and functional with working water pump, fridge and cooker, lots of storage. But it is in need of lots of attention. I’ve tried to show all problems in photographs. The main problem was the front letting in water which caused the wooden panel to disintegrate. The outside joint has been sealed with silicon and on the inside the loose wood taken out and roughly filled with filler as shown in the pictures. The curtain rail is loose and needs sorting properly. It hasn’t leaked for a whole year since then though! The front can be used as a small double bed or sitting area with table. The back should have a sleeping area that can either be one massive bed, two singles or two sets of bunk beds. But the bunk bed support poles are not fully attached and one bit has come away from the wall. But all the main bits are there and with a few fixings could be mended if you’re a bit of a handy man or woman!!The toilet and shower are useable but the sink behind is a little cracked and has just been taped up the whole time we’ve had the van. Hinge on one kitchen cupboard and clip on grill door need replacing.Wear and tear on wooden finish in areas. Full awning included –but has tear at front -could be…
