I am offering my beloved Avondale Avocet for sale, as I am upgrading to something larger, due to expanding family. This caravan has been in my family for over 10 years and has been loved and cared for during that time. it is in remarkably good condition for it’s age and is regularly praised by other caravanners, wherever I take it. it comes with most of the equipment you will need to just hook it up and enjoy caravanning. For a two berth caravan it is surprisingly spacious and the large end washroom is very useful, containing a good shower, toilet, hand basin, vanity unit and wardrobe. That said, there are one or two issues which any buyer should be aware of. The grill part of the cooker doesn’t work. I think it would be a simple fix, but I haven’t got around to it. the oven door seal needs fixing. the glue is in the caravan for the new owner to complete the job. The room heater doesn’t work. It is possible to find a replacement from caravan breakers, but they are expensive. I got around this by using an oil filled portable radiator, which worked a treat. The full size awning is in reasonable condition, but the zips have been replaced on the two end panels, and although they work, they’re not as good as the originals.
