This has been our family caravan for about 10 years, it’s an avondale argente 640/6 with, in my opinion is the most practical layout of any twin axle caravan. There is a large bathroom area to the rear of the van with a full size shower, toilet and vanity unit as well as a double wardrobe. There are two fixed bunks with a dinette opposite which folds to become a further pair of bunks. To the front there is the normal face to face seating arrangement which fold down to become the largest double bed you could possibly need. This is a large van which could easily be sited on a seasonal pitch or used as we did as a touring caravan. It is approximately 200 mm wider than a standard van which means your knees are not banging with the person sat opposite as they do in most vans. It has an internal length of 6.47 m and a width of 2.22 m.Water barrels, waste water container, step, extra long electric hook up and other accessories such as a wheel clamp pots and pans are all included.And now the bad bits, When we first bought the van, the previous owner had used the floor as an ironing board which had caused the insulating material in the floor to melt with the heat and cause a soft spongy area.
