Hi welcome to my auction for a 1999 Avondale Avocet 2 Birth
Caravan
I am selling this on behalf of my son, he has actually been
residing in the caravan for the last 15 months following a break up with his
wife, thus proving to be a testament to the homeliness of the caravan.
The outside as you can see in the photos just needs a bit of
a wash, internally for its age is in very good condition. The carpet was
completely covered over with a temporary one during his residence so as you can
see in the photos the original has remained in great condition.
Shortly after moving into the van the PSU/Battery Charger
unfortunately packed up thus rendering the 12 volt sockets, lights, water pump
out of service, as he was pitched up on an official caravan park and was next
to a 240 volt power supply hook-up point enabling the fridge, heater, some
lighting to work giving him sufficient power to live by.
The PSU/Battery Charger required is a Zig X80, he did buy a
second hand one off ebay and this turned out to be faulty, he then bought a
second hand Zig X70 off ebay and once again this was faulty so he gave up. I
have had a look here on ebay and there is a brand new X80 for £214.99 and a
brand new X70 for £149.99. The only difference between the two is that the X80 has
