My childhood caravan. Parting is not easy, but she needs to go to a good home where she will be properly restored. The real beauty of this van is that she hasn’t been modified in any way- totally original. Even the carpets and curtains are original and the instruction manual pristine. My parents owned her from brand new and they knew how to look after their kit. She has been well used, well loved and stored in a caravan port throughout her life. The nearside paintwork is really good but the offside and some of the roof panels are pitted. There is some evidence of past water ingress in the back corners although it seems dry now- I think it may have been water coming in via the rear light clusters while she’s been towed (see pics). I have realised that none of the photos include the tables but we have both, and they are in perfect condition. She hasn’t been moved in many a year but my dad kept the running gear lubricated and the A-frame sheeted down. The handbrake was off and the steadies move freely but for safety’s sake her first journey should be on a trailer.
