Hallo. This is Ethel. We bought her last year and have started to refurbish her, although very little has been needed. She is DAMP FREE, NO SIGN OF HER AGE, AND NO LEAKS (very important amidst our caravanning friends)! No smell of damp.PLUS SIDE: She was originally an office for a joiner and he installed lovely oak wooden flooring plus some desks (he removed the 2 mattresses but we still have them) to put in the desks! The floor gives a real feeling of luxury and is high quality. We have removed the desk tops and framework but will include as you may want the wood to re instate the frame for the mattresses. As she’s been an office, don’t think she’s had the usual ‘wear and tear!’The ‘van has stable type doors, another ‘plus’ we are told!We have refurbished the interior and have papered the main cabin walls in Laura Ashley Sylvie Birdcage Wallpaper & Lille Wallpaper (please see photo). Very pretty. The paintwork is Annie Sloan Country Grey. All the knobs on drawers and overhead cabinets have been changed to crystal. Very shabby chic. There is the original side light with 2 bulbs. Good storage, mirrors, dressing table with drawers under. Separate chest of drawers in between the sofas/beds. Both decoupaged in vintage/retro paper. Original fluorescent tube (not checked). New curtain rods and new net curtaining for extra privacy.
