We purchased this caravan earlier this year as support-crew accommodation for a Lands End to John o’ Groats (LEJOG) tridem cycle world record attempt. We completed the journey successfully and are now waiting for the record to be ratified. The caravan covered the 2,000 + miles without any problems at all and, before we left, it had a full chassis/axle inspection/service, a new hitch damper, a new leisure battery, and a new spare tyre.It is fairly basic and we turned the rear bed into a “permanent” double (see photographs)All the lights work (interior and exterior) and the fridge works on both the battery and hook-up (lead included).There is a heater but there is no gas bottle and we have never tried to use it so cannot say if it works or not. The same applies to the water pump/system.The hob had been removed before we purchased the van but a camping stove works perfectly well in the space left by it (see photographs)There is an awning but, again, we have never used it. All the poles are numbered and have been assmbled to provide a complete frame although not all the poles appear to be original. Also, we cannot be sure that the awning is the correct size for the caravan.There is a portaloo in the bathroom area and this could be included if you wish.In short, a very reasonable caravan which could be used in…
