This little retro van is a gem, it needs some work but it’s all doable and pretty cheap to do.We have had this van for quite a few years, renting it out on a campsite as a clamping caravan. We have never used it as a tourer though. It’s a 4 berth van with the double and single beds being made up of the seating area. There is a table with 4 seats and a table with 2 seats. The 4th bed is a hammock that hides away in the back support of the single bed.The caravan comes with bedding, crockery and lots of kitchenware – it’s ready to go. This would make an ideal garden van for chilling out in or even as somewhere to work in. It was towed about 2o miles last year and seemed fine but I would suggest getting it checked over before doing a long tow. Externally it needs a bit of TLC, the seals need doing – this is just a case of cleaning out the old sealant and putting new silicone in. We have done this on a few of our vans and it is easy – just takes time. Also the window trim needs replacing, again it is an easy job. The tow hitch needs a paint and tidy up too.We painted the van with Rustoleum paint using gloss rollers so it’s easy to give it a makeover too.We really hope that someone can get to enjoy this van, we certainly have.We…
