We’ve had ‘Mable’ for 10 years now but we’ve decided to sell as we’re just not getting the chance to go away much in her now and can’t warrant paying for the storage every year. Her kerb weight is 750kg and 1000kg max, so a lightweight caravan, with an overall length of 17ft. We’ve towed her with comfortably with a Mondeo 1.8.
Mable has the basics of cold water via an electric pump. A water heater is in the caravan but not plumbed in. There is an electric heater (we had the gas fire removed). Power is mains and battery. There’s a fully functional fridge, gas hob and grill. The leisure battery died a while back, so we have fitted a battery charger to run off the mains.
The bathroom has a wall cabinet and Porta potty. The front bed is a full size double and the rear folds into a small double as well as a single bunk. She had a service a few years ago, where the brakes were done and tyres replaced.
