Lovely starter van for those who are wanting to dip their toe into the world of caravanning, without it costing a small fortune.Very lightweight: MiRO weight = 754KgMax = 1000KgWhen we bought this caravan last year, nothing worked. We have done a lot of work on the ‘van including: new whale submersible water pump and matching inlet installed.Replacement flexible hose and new Calor gas regulator fitted.rewiring electrics and fitting plug sockets with USB charging points and new strip LED lighting.12v transformer fitted to run the lighting and water pumps. (age appropriate transformer will be included with the van, but hasn’t yet been fitted – this should then allow the water heater to work, but we just haven’t got around to doing this) Basically, everything works off the mains hook up. There is a battery, but we haven’t tried it “off grid” to see if this works. 3 ring gas hob works, as does the grill. (no oven)Tyres have tread, but they are old and would recommend changing them. Water pump and EHU lead included, as are the water roller and other water/waste containers seen in the photos. Fridge works off the mains, but we haven’t tested it off the gas or 12VWe also didn’t test the gas heater to see if this works. There are the obvious signs of age and wear for a ‘van of this vintage, but we did a damp test on Sunday (after the downpour on Saturday) and could find no signs of new water ingress or damp.
