This is a 1985 ABI Marauder 350-2 caravan. It is very lightweight at just 510kg unladen so pretty much anything can tow it. It would be ideal behind a classic car or VW camper etc for the upcoming show season and it’s a lot easier than putting a tent up in a field for the weekend!I actually bought this a year ago with the intention of turning it into a mobile drinks bar but that idea never took off so it’s just been sat untouched. The photos are very recent though – they were taken on Saturday 26th Jan 2019.Inside there’s a cassette toilet and fold down basin in the bathroom while the kitchen area has a sink and a gas hob/grill. There is a fair bit of storage and a decent sized wardrobe too.The two sofas convert easily into a bed as you can see in the pics.It seems quite dry inside and while it’s been sat outside all year there have been no water leaks internally. It is a 30+ year old caravan, so there’s bound to be some damp in it somewhere – if there is damp in it, it’s not obvious though.The previous owner removed the water heater for some reason so it only has running cold waterAs I mentioned, I intended to convert it into a mobile bar so I have never used it as a caravan and none of the systems (heating/plumbing/electrics) have been tested or certified.
