Abi Award Transtar 2 Berth Caravan for Sale.
We purchased this caravan approximately 3 years ago and have
hardly used it since. We were assured at the time it did not leak and it was in
full working order. It has not been moved since and has only had light use in
situ.
The Abi Award Transtar was one of the top of the range at the
time and has a comfortable living area which converts to a bed which could
sleep three of four if required,
The good points about the caravan are:-
The interior and decor are in generally good order
We believe all the appliances such as the hob, heating,
shower etc are working (we have never needed to use these so cannot be 100%
sure)
The floor etc is solid and not spongy
The awning is also included with the sale. We have never
used this so cannot be sure on condition but it looks OK.
The not so good points are:-
We were perhaps a little naive in believing the previous
owner that it did not leak at all as, after leaving it out in the rain in a
typically wet Welsh Autumn / Winter, damp patches did begin to show in particular
above the kitchen sink in the top cupboards, near the shower and below the
window.
We then covered the caravan with an outlander all weather
cover which has protected the caravan and kept it dry till now. Unfortunately,
