Here we have a fine example of early 90’s caravanning.
1992 ABI Award Sunstar 4 Berth
We brought her a few years ago to see if we like
caravanning, and we do so we have just brought a newer model.
She has the classic layout of front lounge area which turns
into a king size bed and rear diner which turns into bunk beds.
Great for the kids, we have never taken the bunk beds down.
I have modernised her slightly with the addition of his and
hers USB charging sockets and replaced a couple of the dull lights with LEDs.
She has served us well and tows no problem. I dragged her to
Scotland and back last year and kept forgetting she was there!

The bathroom taps don’t work. I guess this is a pipe come unattached behind the sink unit.
The inside back wall has rotten plywood. I think water
is getting in through the join between the roof and the back outside wall.
So this is a perfect project for someone. Reseal the back of
the van and replace the plywood wall and she’s good to go!
Electrics and gas all work but the leisure battery has
stopped working so needs replacing and I needed the gas regulator so you will
need to put a new one on.
